The Images FolderEvery time you load an image the image caching system checks your Images folder for an image with the same name, even if you are loading the image from a remote source. If you have that image in your Images folder or any sub folder, you will use the local image without downloading a new image.
The Cache FolderThe new Cache folder allows you to save images that you have loaded before. Every new image you load to the map is placed inside the Cache folder allowing you to use that image instead of downloading duplicates everytime a new copy is loaded.

- Features that we talk about here are features that are planned for the first stable release of Pious Paladin. In it's Alpha stage not all features will be available, and many will not work correctly.
Pious is a big change
We fully expect there to be problems during the transtition. It's not a small transition either, and we know that. If you see something that is not working please give us your patience and rest assured ... nothing is getting cut. Worst case scenario will be a feature is delayed.
